Downtown Las Vegas Celebrates St. Patrick’s Day With Annual St Paddy’s Day Parade And Firefighter Games!
Professional Firefighters Of Nevada will host their Annual Family Friendly Fundraising Event.
Downtown Las Vegas will come alive with the spirit of St. Patrick’s Day on Saturday, March 17, when the Professional Firefighters of Nevada (PFFN) hosts the annual St. Paddy’s Day Parade and Firefighter Games. This lively event promises a day filled with community camaraderie, fun for the whole family, and thrilling firefighter competitions.
The festivities kick off with the traditional St. Paddy’s Day Parade, featuring bagpipers and firefighters from across the valley proudly marching alongside firefighter engines along the Fremont Street Experience. The parade will wind through Fremont and Main, spreading Irish cheer throughout downtown Las Vegas.
But the celebration doesn’t stop there! The action continues on 3rd Street in front of Hogs and Heifers, where the legendary Firefighter Games will happen. Spectators will be treated to thrilling competitions as firefighters from various departments race against each other in hilarious challenges such as Hose Bowling, wheelbarrow races, bucket brigades, hose or tire drags, and tug-of-war.
While these games provide plenty of fun and laughs, they also serve a noble purpose. Proceeds from the event will support firefighters dealing with hardship, along with PFFN’s memorial fire engine and fallen firefighter memorial in Carson City. The dedication memorial in Carson City honors the 85 firefighters who have lost their lives due to the inherent risks of firefighting. The games also allow current firefighters to unwind, connect with the community, and showcase their skills.

Go Green at PT’s Wings & Sports on Easter Weekend
PT’s Wings & Sports at the Strat will toast to the holiday with a variety of spirited drinks, available exclusively from Friday, March 13 through Sunday, March 17. Offerings will include green Bud Light draft beers, priced at $5; complimentary green Jell-O shots; shots of Jameson Irish Whiskey with a pickle juice back, priced at $8; and an Irish Slammer made with Jameson Irish Whiskey, Baileys Irish Cream liqueur and Guinness Draught, priced at $10.
Traditional Irish flavors will also be available with the featured fare, including corned beef and cabbage sliders, house-baked slider rolls topped with sliced corned beef brisket and cabbage slaw, priced at $19; and braised short rib with green mashed potatoes and broccolini, priced at $29. STRAT Café will celebrate St. Patrick’s Day by offering a Reuben sandwich filled with corned beef, Swiss cheese, sauerkraut, and Russian dressing with a side of french fries, which will be priced at $19. The featured dish will be priced at $19 and available exclusively from Friday, March 13 through Sunday, March 17.
