Working with Stephanie Danderson
I’ve known Stephanie for many years, and we have performed and produced many events here in Las Vegas. She is a very busy entrepreneur and a fantastic entertainer.
Trying to keep up with her is quite the challenge! Not only does she own her own business, “N 2 The Looking Glass,” 2202 W. Charleston Blvd. No. 14, where she can transform ANYONE into a classic beauty. Her makeup skills and style have helped many drag queens, transgenders, Drag Kings and others find their best look. She can create a skin regimen for any skin type to give you the youngest and healthiest skin possible.
She also produces and supports several local shows and gay clubs. Her regular show at the Flex Club on Twain is every Thursday night with different entertainers every week. I have been a part of her show several times and am thrilled to be back with her and the “My-o-My Show” on May 16! Showtime is at 9:30 p.m. SHARP!! Stephanie believes the show starts PROMPTLY when advertised. As a lot of you know, Drag shows, and gay club shows are notorious for beginning well after the posted time. It’s been nicknamed “Drag Time”. Well, NOT for Stephanie! Better be in your seat with a cocktail, or you will miss the first part of any show she produces! Good for her!!
In addition to all of that, Stephanie is very involved with the NGRA (Nevada Gay Rodeo Association). The Nevada Gay Rodeo Association is an all-volunteer, nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to preserving the Western lifestyle and producing gay rodeos with a commitment to raise funds for charitable organizations within our community. Over the years, NGRA has raised thousands of dollars for local charities.
I have participated in the rodeo with Stephanie for the last few years. This year is no different. I will host the main event on May 25 at the Big Horn Rodeo at Horseman Park, 5800 E. Flamingo Road. The rodeo starts at 11:30 a.m. (doors open at 10:30 a.m.), and the show is from 7 to 10 p.m. I’ll present my famous “county big girl character, TAMMY SPRAYNETTE.”
I am ready for Bingo
As many of you know, I have been singing the praises of Las Vegas’ newest gay hot spot, the Bent Inn & Pub. Located downtown at 1100 E. Ogden Ave., it’s a fun place to visit with a full bar, pool and rooms to rent for a lavish Las Vegas getaway. Well, they will have a bingo event very soon, May 16, with my favorite DJ and friend, ROCKSTAR AARON!!!
I will, of course, be there to root on my friend and the Bent Inn. Maybe I’ll pick up a trick or two (for bingo bitches! Get your mind out of the gutter… I’m a married woman! haha). Then, immediately following Rockstar’s bingo, I’ll be heading to the Flex Club for my show with Stephanie. Boy, when it rains, it pours!
This Just In
I got a call from the famous Bobby Drake in Palm Springs. He asked me to participate in a new monthly show at Oscar’s Cabaret every third Tuesday. The show will feature drag queens from Palm Springs and Las Vegas. My first show with fellow beauty Katy Monroe is on Tuesday, May 21.
