Throughout the month of June, Virgin Hotels Las Vegas, part of Curio Collection by Hilton, will celebrate pride through showcasing LGBTQ+ musicians and artists as well as special activations at the coastal Italian experience Kassi Beach House. A portion of proceeds raised from these activations, as well as specialty pride cocktails and ticket sales on select dates for the resort’s residency Lady Like – A Retro Modern Burlesque Show, will be donated to The Center, a local nonprofit that provides resources and guidance to members of the LGBTQ+ community in need.
New to Virgin Hotels Las Vegas will be a Gallery to Go Art Vending Machine this year. An innovative way to showcase and support art, this unique vending machine provides both local and LGBTQ+ artists a direct way to showcase and sell their art for $5 to $25.
Two ground-breaking shows will be held at 24 Oxford throughout pride month, For the Girls On June 15, For the Girls will stop at 24 Oxford on its 2024 tour. This energetic show is a tribute to drag culture from the creators of RuPaul’s Drag Race Werq The World Tour, RuPaul’s Drag Race Night of the Living Drag Tour and RuPaul’s Drag Race Vegas LIVE! For the Girls details the history and importance of lesbian culture through dance, music and iconic lesbian celebrities portrayed in drag. The performance stars Bosco, Daya Betty and Lady Camden, the season 14 finalists of RuPaul’s Drag Race. More information and tickets can be found here.
In partnership with the iconic clubs Piranha and Gipsy, Kassi Beach House will throw two special events in celebration of pride month. On Wednesday, June 12, the coastal Italian restaurant will throw a special pride House Party, complete with a DJ at 7 p.m., drink specials starting at 9 p.m. and a guest appearance from renowned artist Robin Slonina, who will perform a live body painting on drag star Kahanna Montrese. They will also host a pride brunch on Saturday, June 15 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. that will have entertainment from Gipsy, including special guests from previous seasons of RuPaul’s Drag Race. The restaurant will also offer two specialty cocktails, The Love Potion and a Passion Pride Margarita, for $19 each throughout the entire month of June. In the resort’s intimate lounge, The Shag Room, guests can partake in a special Upside-Down Tea-Party on Father’s Day, Sunday, June 16, Daddy’s Upside Down Tea Party. Featuring a unique menu for the holiday, including rainbow macarons, funfetti cake pops, unicorn parm cookies, and more, those in attendance will be treated to specialty teas, delectable small bites, and a riveting performance from Elise Victoria ($49).
