The Mexican Independence Day menu includes an enticing lineup of drinks, such as the refreshing El Ranchero with Código Rosa, Cointreau, and Fever Tree Yuzu Lime; the tropical Fresca de Playa blending Código Blanco, Cointreau, Pineapple and Fever Tree Ginger Beer; the indulgent Bayas Con Leche with Código Rosa, Cointreau, Licor 43 Chocolate and Baileys; and the elegant Néctar de Noche featuring Código Blanco, Peach Puree and Sparkling Wine, all priced at $18. The dinner menu at Mijo includes authentic and modern Mexican dishes to enjoy during the celebration, including a two-pound Puerto Nuevo grilled lobster presentation, butter poached, grilled and served in its shell with chili lobster cream sauce and lemon on a bed of rice, and charred octopus, served on over a bed of navy beans and chorizo with roasted potatoes and topped with pickled shallots, among others. Guests can finish the night with a sweet treat such as the Diablo Skull en Fuego, a choco flan with red fruit salsa and Mexican chocolate mocha sauce, served in a chocolate skull and set aflame tableside.
