It’s that time of year … in more ways than one. Take a Halloween break for a good scare and do some good. Moe Lastfogel, who helps organize the local Pirate Fest, has turned his home into a haunted house to help gather food donations for local charities. Address is 919 Havre Ave., near Warm Springs Road. It’s open this weekend, Oct. 25 and 26 from 5 to 10 p.m. and on Halloween night 5 to 9 p.m. The theme this year is Alice in Pirate Land.
