Dr. Chung has over 25 years of experience in these areas and has a strong reputation as a speaker on women’s history subjects.

Dr. Chung will speak on Jeanne Weir, a native of Iowa who moved to Nevada in 1899 to work as a history professor at the University of Nevada. She worked there until her retirement in 1940. Ms. Weir is best known for her work preserving Nevada’s history through her position as Secretary of the Nevada Historical Society for over 46 years.
