Choreographed by James Canfield, NBT’s The Nutcracker is a magical journey through a larger-than-life world filled with waltzing flowers, nimble fairies, and moonlit snow. Glittering holiday joy abounds as Clara and her handsome Prince travel from the warmth of her family home to a land of toy soldiers, mischievous mice, and exotic visitors from faraway lands. The music is by Peter Ilyich Tchaikovsky, and the choreography is by James Canfield. The Nutcracker Suite will be performed at The Smith Center for the Performing Arts from December 14 to 27.
