The new term for Congress began barely a week ago and the attacks on the LGBTQ+ community are already coming.
Both the U.S. House of Representatives and Senate are expected to vote any day on a nationwide ban on trans kids participating in school sports. It’s despicable that instead of focusing on the pressing issues facing our country, like the cost of housing and health care, the anti-equality congressional majority is prioritizing this discriminatory legislation that benefits no one and only harms children.
