Silver State Equality, Nevada’s statewide LGBTQ+ civil rights organization, will hold its annual Silver State Equality Awards event and ceremony on Nov. 12, at KAOS at Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas. The Silver State Equality Awards celebrate Nevada’s LGBTQ+ achievements and honor inspirational leaders whose selfless work helps to create a world that is healthy, just, and fully equal for all LGBTQ+ people.
Hosted by RuPaul’s Drag Race star Coco Montrese, the program features this year’s honorees, including actress, restaurateur, designer, tv personality, author and humanitarian, Lisa Vanderpump, a champion and ally of the LGBTQ+ community. Vanderpump, who will receive the Equality Visibility Award, is currently preparing to open the much-anticipated Vanderpump Hotel in early 2026 in the former Cromwell Las Vegas space.
Former Las Vegas City Mayor, business leader and philanthropist, Jan Jones Blackhurst, will receive the 2025 Equality Leadership Award. The Community Leadership Award will be presented to the LGBTQ+ Center of Southern Nevada.
