The hottest night of the year is back as Aid for AIDS of Nevada (AFAN) hosts its 39th annual Black & White Party on Saturday, Sept. 20 at KAOS Nightclub inside Palms Casino Resort. The signature fundraising event, presented in partnership with Clark County’s Love! Live! Undetectable Equals Untransmittable (U=U) campaign, benefits AFAN’s year-round programs for individuals living with or affected by HIV/AIDS in Southern Nevada.

This year’s “Wild West”-themed celebration will be hosted by Fredric Godinez and Alexander Stabler of design firm Fredric Alexander, and promises an unforgettable night of fashion, entertainment, and community spirit. Guests are encouraged to dress in their best black-and-white western looks as they enjoy live performances, culinary pop-ups, immersive photo opportunities, and interactive activations.

Proceeds from the Black & White Party provide critical funding for AFAN’s programs, which include HIV testing, medical case management, transportation, housing assistance, food programs, and prevention education.

“After more than four decades of service, AFAN remains steadfast in our mission to support those affected by HIV/AIDS and to end HIV stigma,” said Antioco Carrillo, AFAN’s executive director. “The Black & White Party is not only our largest fundraiser, but also a celebration of our community’s strength and generosity.”

The event begins at 8 p.m. with a VIP Reception (VIP, VIP+ ticket holders, and table guests) featuring open bar, early tastings, and a welcome toast. General admission begins at 9 p.m. inside KAOS Nightclub, with an official afterparty to follow at Piranha and Gipsy Nightclub. To purchase tickets or learn more, visit afanlv.org.
