No Sips, Just Strength! Hofbräuhaus Las Vegas Hosts Stein-Holding Competition Through July 25

Provided Content

Compete every Friday and Saturday evening to win a trip to New York City for the finals of the U.S. Championship in Masskrugstemmen!

Think you’ve got what it takes to hold your beer?

Hofbräuhaus Las Vegas is turning up the fun (and the competition) with the return of its legendary Masskrugstemmen (stein-holding) competition, held every Friday and Saturday night now through Saturday, July 25.

This isn’t your average bar game — it’s a full-on test of grit, strength, and serious determination. Brave competitors will go stein-to-stein, holding a hefty one-liter (34 ounces) mug of Hofbräu beer straight out at shoulder height. The rules are simple: no bending, no spilling, no dropping — and definitely no quitting. The last arm standing takes the win.

And the stakes? They’re as big as the steins. One champion will rise above the rest to claim the regional title and score a trip to New York City this September to compete in the U.S. Masskrugstemmen Championship.

Along with ultimate bragging rights, the 2026 regional winner will receive round-trip airfare to New York City, hotel accommodations, spending money, and the chance to march in the iconic Steuben Parade down Fifth Avenue. The national finals take place Saturday, September 19, 2026, at SummerStage in Central Park.

The grand prize for the ultimate U.S. champion? A bucket-list trip for two to Munich, Germany — complete with flights, hotel accommodations, a behind-the-scenes tour of the original Hofbräu Brewery, and a celebratory feast at the legendary Hofbräuhaus Munich.

Whether you’re competing or cheering from the sidelines with a cold beer in hand, every weekend at Hofbräuhaus Las Vegas promises high-energy fun, lively crowds and unforgettable moments.
