L.A. Comedy Club inside The STRAT Hotel, Casino & Tower has three shows nightly and is home to comedians Julio Gonzalez, Butch Bradley and Bret Ernst. This month, they will be sharing the stage with some of the funniest names in the comedy scene: Jay “Big Irish” Hollingsworth, Peter Berman, KT Tatara, and Carlos Rodriguez. L.A. Comedy Club will also celebrate National Best Friends Day happening Saturday, June 8, with BOGO tickets available from Friday, June 7, through Sunday, June 9. L.A. Comedy Club

Shows nightly at 6 p.m., 8 p.m. and 10 p.m.

The L.A. Comedy Club, dubbed “The Younger Rebel Brother of Improv” by Casino Player Magazine, has been entertaining Las Vegas locals and visitors since 2007. Known as the spot “where comedy comes to party,” the repeat “Best of Las Vegas” gold award winner has recently relocated its famed Dragon Room to a custom-built 270-seat showroom on the main casino floor at The STRAT Hotel, Casino & Tower.

Minors under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a guardian. No minors under the age of 15 are allowed in the showroom. Ticket prices start at $39.95 plus taxes and fees, with the option to purchase L.A. Comedy’s famous “$25 All You Can Drink Special.” Nevada locals with valid ID receive 50 percent off.   • 6 p.m. Monday, June 3 through Tuesday, June 25: Happy Hour Show Starring Julio Gonzalez

Julio Gonzalez, a rising star in the comedy scene, is known nationwide for his storytelling comedic style using his life experiences such as weight loss, relationships, society, women and living life to the fullest. Gonzalez also uses his platform and talents as a comedian to help others through his various charity shows and is committed to being the change he wants to see in the world.

  • 6 p.m. Wednesday, May 26 through Sunday, May 30: Happy Hour Show

L.A. Comedy Club will bring a roster of special guest performers to the stage, each of whom will leave the audience both impressed and laughing throughout the show. At least three stand-up comedians will perform, ensuring a great time. The show is rated R.

  • 10 p.m. Thursday through Monday: Butch Bradley 

Comedic veteran, Butch Bradley, grew up in Atlantic City, New Jersey and started his comedy career by becoming a founding member of the Boston Improv Troupe. Bradley has been the opening act for comedic legends like Ray Romano, Lewis Black and Cathy Ladman and has appeared on HBO (now MAX) and Comedy Central, has been a regular on “The Late Late Show” and toured festivals such as the “Aspen Rooftop Comedy Festival,” the “Montreal Just for Laughs Comedy Festival” and made an appearance as a USO Entertainer. Bradley has received the gold “Best Comedian” award for three consecutive years from the Las Vegas Review-Journal’s “Best of Las Vegas” awards. Bradley’s comedy special, “Butch Bradley: From Las Vegas” is currently available on Amazon Prime. He can also be seen on the big screen in the upcoming film “Reagan” starring Dennis Quaid. 

  • 10 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday: Bret Ernst 

Bret Ernst, born and raised in New Jersey, was one of four comedians featured in “Wild West Comedy Show: 30 Days and 30 Nights—Hollywood to the Heartland,” has appeared on television shows like “Comedy Central Presents,” “The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson,” “Weeds” and has a recurring role on Netflix’s hit series, “Cobra Kai.” Ernst’s jokes are rooted in storytelling, giving the audience an inside look at the life of a typical North Jersey Italian kid in the 1980s.

Jay “Big Irish” Hollingsworth, originally from the Pacific Northwest, moved to the East Coast to hone his comedic skills across the stages of Boston, Massachusetts. Hollingsworth earned first place in both the “March Comedy Madness Competition” and “The Best of Boston” as well as being a finalist in the “Bay Area Black Comedy Competition,” “The Shades of Laughs Comedy Competition,” “Magners USA Comedy Festival” and the “Bend International Comedy Competition.” His television appearances include CBS’s “2 Broke Girls,” “Love at First Cousin,” “The Family Exchange ” and more. Along with starting his own podcasts, “The HollingsWorthless Program,” “Love in Black & White” and “F**king Boo! Bombing Stories,” Hollingsworth made guest appearances on some of the country’s top-rated shows like “About Last Night,” Robert Kelly’s “You Know What Dude,” Greg Fitzsimmons “Fitzdog Radio” and Doug Benson’s “Doug Loves Movies” and “Benson Interruption.”

Carlos Anthony is known for his ability to find humor in all of the unpredictable twists and turns that life throws at him. Anthony’s wit and humor light up the room and guarantee to leave his audience with a smile on their face. His lighthearted humor has allowed him to rise to stardom in the comedy world, and the production of his recent comedy series, “Part-Time Famous,” produced by Laugh After Dark. “Part-Time Famous” can be watched on Amazon Prime and Tubi as well as heard on Apple iTunes, Spotify, YouTube Music, Tidal and SiriusXM channel 99 Raw Dog Comedy.

  • Monday, June 10 through Sunday, June 16: Peter Berman featuring Brandon “Gooch” Hahn

Peter Berman got his break when Dr. Timothy Leary caught his act and was invited to a gig at Hollywood Improv. The following summer, he finished his degree in communications and moved from Michigan to Los Angeles where he quickly became a regular in the stand-up comedy scene. He rose through the ranks, opening for big-name comics like Tim Allen and Paul Reisner. He later became a regular on TV channels MTV, VH1, and Comedy Central, as well as The Late, Late Show with Craig Kilborn, Star Search, and a guest host on NBC’s Friday Night. Berman also appeared on Comedy Central’s international television series “The World Stands Up” and won over audiences in England, Ireland, Australia, The Netherlands, and Scotland. With a mix of personal life chaos and observational humor, Peter is now developing TV shows, including a sitcom inspired by his unconventional family life.

Brandon “Gooch” Hahn started his comedic journey in Las Vegas back in 2000 after his best friend tricked him into getting on stage to do a stand-up routine. After that night, he was instantly hooked and never looked back. His goofy and charming personality easily wins over audiences, and his well-crafted, perfectly timed jokes keep them laughing throughout his performance. As a comedian who has discovered his purpose, he aims to spread joy as far as he possibly can. Today, he wears many hats as he continues to hold shows in major comedy clubs throughout Las Vegas in addition to being a father, radio station host of 92.7 “The Rock Station,” co-host of “Rise to Offend” podcast, and self-proclaimed sex symbol and professional sandwich taster.

  • Monday, June 17 through Sunday, June 23: KT Tatara featuring Gene Moore

KT Tatara has been using his wit and likeability to charm his audience for over 15 years. With his Japanese and Caucasian heritage and growing up in Washington D.C. and West Virginia, Tatara developed an uncanny ability to connect with people from all backgrounds. His heritage has allowed him to create a uniquely insightful and uplifting performance tailored for diversity-focused events. Tatara has numerous television appearances that include CBS’s “How I Met Your Mother”, Comedy Central’s “Live at Gotham”, Fox’s “Lethal Weapon” and NBC’s “Last Comic Standing.” He has also had the honor to perform for the prestigious “Just For Laughs” festival five times.

Army veteran Gene Moore resides in Phoenix but spends his time traveling all over the country entertaining audiences with his uplifting, infectious energy. Moore finds the humor in the ordinary, and his uncanny ability to connect with others makes the audience feel like they’re amongst old friends. His quick wit and hilarious jokes ensure that audience members leave in a better mood than they arrived in. As the ultimate party starter, Gene averages 250 shows a year, loving each and every one of them.

  • Carlos Rodriguez lets his inner child come out on stage full of passion, excitement, and energy with stories about life and his childhood experiences growing up in a large family. His clever and approachable style of comedy has taken him to some of the most prestigious clubs across the country and in Las Vegas. He also featured on Comedy Central’s “Up Next,” and Hulu’s “Quick Laffs.” He has also participated in the World Series of Comedy, the San Francisco International Comedy Competition, where he was a finalist, and the SLO Comedy Festival, where he was voted Best of the Fest in 2016 and 2018. Named “Best Comic in Sacramento” by Sacramento News & Review for three consecutive years from 2013 to 2015, he has headlined multiple international tours for American military overseas.
