The National Coming Out Day Block Party returned to the Historic Fruit Loop Las Vegas for the first time since its official designation as a historic LGBTQ+ landmark on Saturday, Oct. 11. The event unites Las Vegas leaders, businesses, and entertainers for an evening of pride, music, and community celebration.
The festivities began with a pre-show hosted by Mikalah Gordon and Estevan Velasco at Gipsy, followed by a ceremonial unveiling of the Fruit Loop historic landmark sign led by community leaders, celebrating the recognition as a cornerstone of Las Vegas LGBTQ+ history.
Entertainment took over the Fruit Loop throughout the night with headlining performances by Brooke Lynn Hytes, Willam, Alexis Mateo, Mirage, and Luxx Noir London of RuPaul’s Drag Race. Joining them are the casts of Gipsy and Piranha Nightclubs, the Las Vegas Men’s Chorus, local entertainers, and DJs. In between performances, guests enjoyed a resource and vendor fair featuring food trucks, nonprofit partners and local vendors.
