Another piece of Las Vegas history disappeared in the early hours this morning. đź’” The Eastside Cannery may not have had the decades-long legacy of some Strip resorts, but for many of us, it held its own memories.
From its opening to today’s quiet implosion, I got to experience a hotel-casino entirely firsthand. I’ll always remember the view from the top-floor balcony, the many meals, the entertainment, conventions and events. The Eastside Cannery wasn’t the most famous property in Las Vegas, but it was part of the landscape for 17 years.
Thank you, Damon Blumberg, for filming and editing the video.
