Located in downtown Henderson, the Gaudi Bar is back and better than ever! The first phase of its dramatic redesign has been completed, with the addition of new lighting, elevated lounge seating, and a redesigned gaming experience at the casino’s center. In addition to this tremendous redesign, the reopening of the Gaudi Bar represents another significant milestone in the property-wide renovation that Sunset Station is currently undergoing to reshape this destination for locals and tourists alike.

Sunset Station celebrated the reopening of the iconic Gaudí Bar and gaming pit with a festive ribbon-cutting ceremony, marking another major milestone in the property’s ongoing transformation. The revitalized centerpiece signals a bold new chapter for the Henderson destination as the property continues its extensive refresh, which includes upgraded casino spaces, new dining and entertainment experiences, and a refined brand identity designed to elevate the guest experience.

“Gaudi Bar has always been one of the signature spaces at Sunset Station, and we’re excited to welcome guests back to an elevated version that still honors the character people know and love,” said Lee Torres, vice president and general manager of Sunset Station. “It’s reopening, along with the return of table games to the center of the casino floor, is an important part of the continued updates taking place across the property.”

Gaudi Bar is a new design that incorporates contemporary elegance and creativity, reflecting the original Gaudi Bar, an iconic establishment for both locals and visitors. The main focus of the interior design is the unique circular sculpture bar beneath the remarkably stunning handcrafted crystal pendant from Preciosa International. The unique bar top is surrounded by waves of metallic elements on the ceiling, creating a beautiful centerpiece for all the patrons to admire as they enjoy themselves on the casino floor.

The refreshed venue preserves the stained-glass artistry and vibrant character inspired by famed Spanish architect Antoni Gaudí while introducing contemporary touches, including jewel-toned lounge seating, communal tables, backlit skylights, updated carpeting, dimmable LED lighting, multiple entry points, and large-screen televisions designed to enhance both nightlife and gaming energy. The project was developed by Station Casinos’ in-house design and construction team in partnership with DezMotif.

Beyond its visual transformation, Gaudi Bar is also positioning itself as one of Henderson’s newest social destinations with an expanded entertainment lineup beginning in June. Weekly programming includes Industry Night every Wednesday from 5 to 11 p.m., featuring complimentary beverages for hospitality workers with valid work identification; Ladies Night every Thursday from 7 to 11 p.m. with specialty cocktail offerings; and Sangria Sundays from noon to 5 p.m. with discounted blanco and roja sangrias.

The reopening also introduces nine new signature cocktails, led by La Sagrada — a Spanish-inspired margarita named after Gaudí’s famed Sagrada Família basilica. The cocktail combines blanco tequila, Licor 43, citrus, agave, a Rioja float, and orange salt for a refined twist on a classic favorite.

Originally opened in 1997, Sunset Station continues to reinvent itself while maintaining the neighborhood energy that has made it a longtime favorite in Henderson. The property features more than 450 hotel rooms and suites, a vibrant casino floor, live entertainment venues, the Strike Zone bowling center, Regal Cinemas with IMAX and 3D offerings, and an expanding collection of restaurants and lounges.

Recent additions include a newly remodeled STN Sportsbook, an updated casino floor, and the debut of Yard House. Additional renovations currently underway include updates to Stoney’s Sunset Country Bar, Sunset Bar, Leticia’s Cocina and Cantina, and several guest-facing enhancements expected later this year.

As Sunset Station continues its property-wide evolution, the rebirth of Gaudi Bar stands as both a tribute to the resort’s legacy and a statement about its future — stylish, energetic, and unmistakably Vegas.
