Las Vegas has historically been known as a place that can create entertainment and reinvent itself over and over by mixing spectacle, amazing talent and artistry to create truly remarkable experiences. A new show will be adding a fresh take to the traditional drag show. The acclaimed drag revue Faaabulous! Currently playing at The Venue in the Rio Hotel and Casino is a show that comprises fantastic costumes, great comedy, and high-energy dance choreography. Additionally, there is an incredible amount of live musical talent being showcased that is not often found in drag entertainment.
Faaabulous! provides additional depth to traditional drag performances created by Christopher Kenney (longtime performer) and Jamie Morris (longtime producer). Starring Ms. Edie (a performer from both Broadway and Cirque du Soleil best known for her performance in Cirque’s Zumanity) and four award winning queens, who have also headlined stages throughout the United States, this production provides its audience with live performers singing (all performers sing live) throughout the entire production in conjunction with the presentation of the show as a musical-theater production due to the inclusion of four-part harmonies during each musical performance in this production. The combination of a concert, comedy show, and Las Vegas-style revue, along with the over-the-top personalities of the drag queens, creates an ultimate entertainment experience for all audience members.

For Kenney, the production serves as both a celebration of drag artistry and a tribute to the history of Las Vegas entertainment.
“Las Vegas has always celebrated larger-than-life entertainment, and Faaabulous! was created as our tribute to that incredible legacy,” he said. “We are thrilled to bring the show to Rio Hotel & Casino, a venue with a rich history of showcasing world-class performers and unforgettable productions. Faaabulous! is our love letter to that spirit.”
He added that the show’s unique vocal component distinguishes it from every other drag production currently on the Strip.

The Drag Brunch is a three-tier event, designed by Chef Ricky Fernandez, featuring a variety of savory and sweet food options, including pesto deviled eggs, spinach quiche, curry chicken salad sandwiches, beef sliders, yogurt parfaits, cucumber sandwiches, chocolate-covered strawberries, lemon cheesecake tarts, and cheesecake bites. Each guest will enjoy bottomless mimosas as part of the celebration.
The creative force behind Faaabulous! brings decades of entertainment expertise to the production. Through BevNap Productions, Kenney and Morris have produced numerous successful theatrical and comedy hits, including Mommie Queerest, The Silence of the Clams, Golden Mean Girls, Confessions of a Mormon Boy, and the internationally recognized comedy phenomenon Puppetry of the Penis. Their reputation for blending humor, storytelling, and audience engagement has earned them critical acclaim and a loyal following.
Kenney believes the move to Rio Hotel & Casino marks an exciting new chapter for the production.
