Sunset Station unveiled a game-changing transformation of the property’s all-new race and sportsbook with a ribbon-cutting at 9:15 a.m. and a first bet following. City Councilmembers Jim Seebock, Carrie Cox, Dan Shaw, and Dan Stewart were in attendance welcoming guests on behalf of the city, and former Raiders running back Napoleon McCallum cast the first bet on the Raiders winning the 2025 Super Bowl. Ribbon cutters included Jordan Seager, Vice President and General Manager of Sunset Station; Jason McCormick, Vice President of Race and Sports; Cindy Hughlett, Race and Sportsbook Manager and Steven Tan; Sunset Station Employee of the Year.

Jordan Seager, Vice President and General Manager of Sunset Station, thanked all those involved in renovating the race and sportsbook, including partner and contractors Martin-Harris Construction and the design and construction team, whom he worked with over the last nine months to get it to where it is today.

“I also want to give a huge shout-out and thank you to the Station Casinos executives too. Their vision and creative ability—in support of this time—are amazing. We’re so grateful for that. Last but not least, I want to thank the sunset team members. This station will be part of the community for 27 years next month, and the team members here do an amazing job of giving great service over and over again.”
