Nothing says summer like a refreshing rum cocktail, the taste making you feel like you’re relaxing on a beach with the sound of soothing waves in the background. To celebrate the holiday, we are sharing a few of the best rum cocktails.

The Barbershop Cuts & Cocktails, located at The Cosmopolitan Las Vegas, is a swanky speakeasy hidden behind an unassuming janitor’s closet door. This National Rum Day, guests are invited to enter the world of captivating live music and star-studded twists on classics. The Red Headed Mai Tai is a nutty and tropical spin on the classic Mai Tai. Made with Sammy Hagar’s own Sammy’s Beach Bar white rum, pineapple juice, cointreau and Sammy’s Beach Bar Red Head macadamia nut rum, the cocktail adds a nutty blend to an already tropical concoction, putting guests right in paradise. Those looking for a smoother, less tropical rum cocktail can enjoy The Barbershop’s Smooth as Silk, a smooth and bittersweet twist on the mojito. Made with Bruno Mars’ Selvarey coconut rum, Chambord, simple syrup, lime juice and mint, it’s an ideal choice to refresh your voice after a night of singing along to rock hits.
