On Aug. 13, Vegas Theatre Company, 1025 S. 1st St., Suite 110, will present A Night Of… Summer Roulette, an unpredictable evening of burlesque, variety and live entertainment where performers will spin a roulette wheel to discover which songs they will perform.
A Night Of… is Las Vegas’ monthly celebration of classic tease and bold artistry in the heart of the Arts District. Summer Roulette takes improvisation to the next level. There are no rehearsals and no second chances. Once the wheel spins, performers must embrace whatever musical selection awaits them, creating a one-night-only experience full of surprises.
Produced by Mollie de Menthe and hosted by Victoria Jade, the evening will feature an electrifying lineup of local favorites alongside visiting performers from across the country. The show will move from seductive striptease and dazzling variety acts to unexpected moments of spectacle, with each performer bringing their own personality and artistry to the stage.
Adding to the evening’s atmosphere will be resident stage kitten Miss Betty D, who will prowl the stage throughout the performance with plenty of charm, sparkle and playful mischief.
This edition of A Night Of… introduces another major element of unpredictability: a live band in the room. For the first time, performers will have musicians providing the soundtrack, opening the door to even more spontaneous moments and musical possibilities.
Audience members can also become part of the creative process before the curtain rises. Vegas Theatre Company is currently accepting song suggestions, inviting fans to submit their favorite tracks for consideration. There is always a chance that a submitted song could make its way onto the roulette wheel and be performed live during Summer Roulette.
Whether longtime burlesque fans or newcomers curious to experience the art form, audiences can expect an evening built around spontaneity, artistry, and the thrill of the unknown.
