On my Birthday, April 12, I was honored to get to see the musical “Follies” with an amazing cast of local showgirls and some incredible stars. Getting to meet my favorite “Annie” Andrea McArdle, was a thrill for me. She was very charming and upbeat as we laughed about how older gay guys really love her! We even got to sing a few bars from the musical “Annie” just for fun. We got some great video which I will be posting soon.

My good friend L.A. Jewel, along with MX Via Tairua-Harris will be hosting the “MX,MR,MISS Henderson Pride 2024 Pageant” Thursday May 30 at 8 p.m. L.A. Jewel and I have been friends for many years and you can always count on her to be there for any charity event, especially in Henderson. Local celebrity, Mark O’Toole has been very busy lately. You can find him just about any time at different casinos and venues. He appears at the South Point at least twice a month, and has been packing the house at Sun City Anthem. He works with some of the best talent in town, and he has asked me to do the show with him on May 1 at Sun City Anthem. I am actually his opening act! Musical Director Vita Drew and I will do our comedy schtick and then bring on Mark. I am so excited!!

Very recently I visited one of my new FAVORITE places in Downtown Las Vegas, The BENT INN. Located on the corner of 11th Street and Ogden Avenue. This inn and pub opened in January after a total renovation of an older property. It is new, shiny, gorgeous and has everything. It is a gay resort. There is a large bar right next to the beautiful pool and spa.
One of the owners, Mark Hunter sat down with me and our camera from “How to JIMMY Vegas” and did a detailed interview. He explained how he and his partner wanted to bring a light and fun place to Las Vegas with a Palm Springs feel. Well, I love going to Palm Springs and have to tell you they have succeeded! Watch for the interview on our next “How to JIMMY Vegas’ Show.
