Atomic Museum To Offer Locals Free Admission On Sunday, Feb. 23

In commemoration of its historic 20th anniversary, the Atomic Museum will offer Nevada residents FREE admission on Sunday, Feb. 23. Locals with a valid Nevada I.D. can explore the museum’s immersive exhibits, rare artifacts, and interactive displays highlighting the history and impact of the Nevada Test Site, nuclear science and pop culture connections. This monumental day offers an opportunity for the community to engage with the museum’s mission to educate and inspire through the story of the country’s atomic past, present and future.

Sunday, Feb. 23

9 a.m. to 5 p.m. (last entry at 4 p.m.)

COST:

Locals presenting a valid I.D. will receive FREE museum admission. Non-locals will pay regular admission prices available at atomicmuseum.vegas or the box office.

The Atomic Museum is operated and maintained by its parent company, the Nevada Test Site Historical Foundation (NTSHF), an IRS 501(c)3 charitable, non-profit organization chartered in Nevada. The Atomic Museum is one of over 200 Smithsonian Affiliate organizations in nearly every state, plus Puerto Rico and Panama. Covering nuclear history, beginning with the first test at the Nevada Test Site on January 27, 1951, the Atomic Museum’s exhibitions and programming also address current affairs related to the nuclear industry.
