The Festival is one of the oldest and largest Shakespeare festivals in North America. Most of the lead actors are members of the Actors’ Equity Association and come from various parts of the country, including Los Angeles, New York and Chicago. Notable actors who have graced the Festival stage include Benjamin Bratt, Jeremy Irons, Harold Gould, Bradley Whitford (NBC’s “The West Wing”), Matt Bomer (USA’s “White Collar”) and Ty Burrell (ABC’s “Modern Family”).

The Utah Shakespeare Festival remains committed to being a gathering space for connection and shared ideas. The Festival strives to foster a culture of respect, kindness, curiosity and collaboration among artists, audiences and staff. Grounded in the timeless works of Shakespeare and other playwrights, it celebrates the richness of diverse perspectives, backgrounds and experiences.
