Crush Pad Wine Bar’s annual Grand Tasting returns August 8, bringing together more than 35 wines, live music and a night of support for the Las Vegas Men’s Chorus.
Wine lovers and supporters of the Las Vegas arts community have something to toast to this August 8 as Crush Pad Wine Bar hosts The Joy of Wine & Music, a Grand Tasting Fundraiser benefiting the Las Vegas Men’s Chorus.
The intimate evening promises an impressive combination of wine, food, live entertainment and community connection, all while raising funds to help the Las Vegas Men’s Chorus continue its community and outreach programs throughout Southern Nevada.
The evening begins at 7 p.m. for general admission, giving guests the opportunity to explore more than 35 wines from around the world. More than 10 sommeliers will be on hand to pour selections, answer questions and share the stories behind the wines, making the tasting an opportunity to discover something new whether you’re a seasoned wine enthusiast or simply enjoy a good glass of wine.

Guests can stroll through Crush Pad with a wine glass in hand, sampling the wines and enjoying a lavish charcuterie spread designed to complement the tasting. There will also be a thoughtfully curated non-alcoholic pairing experience, giving guests who don’t drink an equally enjoyable way to take part in the evening.
Then, at 7:30 p.m., the wine tasting gets a musical accompaniment when the Las Vegas Men’s Chorus takes the stage for a live performance featuring four high-energy numbers.
Founded in 1993 by a small group of men who wanted to sing, the Las Vegas Men’s Chorus has grown into a vibrant performing arts organization with more than 100 active members. Beyond its fully produced Mainstage Concerts, the Chorus presents free Community Concert Series performances throughout the Las Vegas Valley, reaching thousands of people each year.
Its mission extends beyond the stage, focusing on inclusion, diversity, equity, and social justice, and on creating safe spaces through live performance. Proceeds from The Joy of Wine & Music will help fund the Chorus’ 2026–27 community and outreach performances, including free concerts at libraries, community centers and Pride celebrations throughout the valley.
Guests will have additional opportunities to support the organization throughout the evening.
The Blind Bottle Selection adds a touch of mystery to the wine. For $20, guests can select a wrapped bottle, unwrap it and discover its identity while a sommelier shares the story behind the wine. Five dollars from every Blind Bottle purchase will benefit the Las Vegas Men’s Chorus.
Found a wine you love? Guests can also purchase bottles to take home, with $5 from every bottle sold benefiting the Chorus.
For those looking to make the evening even more special, VIP admission begins at 6 p.m. and provides exclusive access to luxury wines. With only 25 VIP spots available, the experience offers a more intimate start to the evening.
General admission begins at 7 p.m. and is $150, with just 100 seats available. The limited attendance keeps the event intimate and gives guests the chance to connect with sommeliers, performers, wine enthusiasts and fellow supporters of the local arts community.

The Joy of Wine & Music is ultimately about more than wine. It is an evening built around the idea that food, music, conversation and shared experiences can bring people together—and that having a good time can also help strengthen the community.
The Joy of Wine & Music takes place Saturday, August 8, at Crush Pad Wine Bar, located at 7865 W. Sahara Ave. VIP admission begins at 6 p.m., general admission begins at 7 p.m., and the Las Vegas Men’s Chorus performs at 7:30 p.m.
