As the Year of the Horse symbolizes strength, endurance and forward momentum, the upcoming observances set an optimistic tone for 2026—blending spectacle, heritage and community in a celebration designed to inspire prosperity for all who attend.
Rooted in centuries of cultural heritage, the lion dance is traditionally performed to dispel negative spirits and invite good fortune. At The STRAT, the celebration will unfold in dramatic fashion as performers in elaborately detailed lion costumes make their way through the casino floor. Accompanied by the resonant pounding of drums, the clash of cymbals and the rhythmic ringing of gongs, the lions will leap, bow and weave through the property in a visually striking procession designed to energize and captivate onlookers.
